Join us at the beautiful Lyric Theater in Birmingham for the World Premiere showing of a documentary film tracing Railroad Park's 15-year journey—from a collection of gravel lots and train car storage to a nationally recognized model of urban greenspace and design excellence.

The film emphasizes the role of design, planning, and community leadership in the Park’s creation. The premiere will feature a panel discussion with designers, urban planners, and community leaders, offering the public a chance to hear firsthand how the Park’s award-winning design came to life.

This documentary film is produced by award-winning filmmaker Michele Forman, Marika Gray Taylor, and Ginger Jefferson. The film & premiere event are made possible by the Philip Morris Fund for the Design Arts at the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham, the Alabama Humanities Alliance, Jemison Investment Co., and Bham Now.
